Membership Application
BASS COAST HISTORICAL AUTOMOBILE CLUB Inc.
Application for Membership.
The Club invites membership applications from all persons interested in the historic
automobile movement.
Membership year is 1 July to 30 June, fees are currently $50.00 per annun plus $20.00 joining fee.
Prior to acceptance of application for membership applicant must have attended at least one club meeting.
Nomination of each new applicant must be on the proscribed form, and proposed and seconded by independent financial members where possible.
Where a membership has two active members each member will be entitled to all club privileges including the right to vote.
Where a membership has two active members the right to nominate new members and the right to nominate members to committee positions is
limited to one nomination for each membership.
CLUB PERMIT SCHEME
APPLICATION FOR PERMIT
A Member wishing to apply for a permit under the Club Permit Scheme (CPS) must be a financial Member, own an eligible vehicle and enter into an agreement with BCHAC agreeing to the CPS condition as required by BCHAC
Prior to application for a permit under the CPS the applicant must have been a financial member of BCHAC for a minimum period of three (3) months and attended a minimum of three (3) meetings or events.
All existing members with a CPS permitted vehicle(s) will be required to enter into an agreement with BCHAC agreeing to the conditions as required by BCHAC.
To apply for a permit under the Club Permit Scheme the applicant must provide a current Victorian Certificate of Roadworthiness and comply with the requirements of VicRoads which may be in place from time to time.

The Club Permit Officer will check the membership status, stamp and sign the documents and return them to the Applicant who can then present them for payment to VicRoads
Permit Officer will record the application in the Club Pending Register
Upon receipt of the permit from VicRoads the applicant will notify the Club Permit Officer of the permit number. The Club Permit Officer will enter the permit number in the Club Permit Register
The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month with the exception of January at the Wonthaggi Workers Club, 75 Graham Street, Wonthaggi. Meetings commence at 7.30 pm.
